The Brand & Customer Marketing team is a dynamic, driven, fast-paced and highly-engaged group.

Together, the team is responsible for building global awareness of our brand and creating demand. We are at the center of driving the business’ funnel growth strategy and work closely with cross functional partners across our sales, product marketing, communications, sales enablement and customer experience teams.

As a brand manager, you'll help evolve and implement our brand strategy and vision. As Brand Manager, you’ll contribute to compelling marketing programs and campaigns that influence internal team members and the global agriculture and consumer goods markets.

Here’s how
  1. Support on delivering high-impact brand marketing campaigns and events with our internal teams and agency partners.
  2. Produce best-in-class brand assets that align with our TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods purpose, visual identity, and marketing themes.
  3. Lead our social media function by managing our social media calendar, developing strategic, high-quality social content, and provide monthly reports and recommendations to the wider team.
  4. Coordinate and manage the ongoing design schedule for a small team of designers and partners.
  5. Be a steward and guardian of our brand to strengthen our positioning in the market.
  6. Leverage your impressive communications skills as a speaker, storyteller and writer to distill complex narratives and engage audiences.
  7. Provide constructive brand feedback and guidance to stakeholders of all kinds with your key attention to detail and professionalism.
  8. Partner closely with the broader marketing team, colleagues across the organization, and a wide variety of stakeholders to produce assets that are relevant and meaningful to our target market.
  9. Stay on the cutting edge of brand and marketing innovation and thought leadership from industry experts, agencies, peers, and competitors.
Qualifications
  1. 4+ years of progressive experience in branding and marketing.
  2. Demonstrated success in working on brand marketing campaigns, social media content creation and media and PR campaigns.
  3. Previous experience in brand management and application of brand guidelines.
  4. Passion for brand building and its importance to every touchpoint with an organization.
  5. Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a complex organization.
  6. Thrive in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  7. Able to pivot quickly to juggle multiple tasks and initiatives.
  8. Strong time management and ability to work independently effectively.
  9. Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  10. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills.
  11. Comfortable with ambiguity.
Great to have but not essential
  1. A university or college degree.
  2. Agriculture and/or CPG marketing experience.
  3. Previous experience in the agriculture and consumer goods sectors.
  4. Ad Copywriting and design experience.
  5. Experience working on a dynamic, global brand.
  6. Agency-side and client-side experience.
  7. Digital asset management experience.
