Join Suntory Global Spirits (SGS) as the Canadian Whisky Brand Ambassador and Alberta Distillers Ltd. (ADL) Specialist! In this dynamic role, you will serve as the face of our Canadian whiskies and ADL brands, collaborating closely with marketing, sales, and public relations teams to elevate product education and enhance brand awareness among consumers, retail customers, on-premise partners, and SGS employees nationwide.
Your responsibilities will include planning and executing engaging brand education and training events to maximize sales efforts with both trade and consumer partners. Additionally, you will manage the Canadian Club whisky artifacts from the Canadian Club Brand Heritage Centre (CCBC) in Windsor, Ontario, ensuring that the Canadian Club brand maintains a strong connection to its rich heritage.
This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, with strong ties to the Windsor area (CC Brand Heritage Centre) and the Calgary (Alberta Distillers Ltd.) communities.
Role Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary diploma or degree, preferably in business or marketing.
• 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, PR, Acting, Conducting Training Seminars, Teaching, or Event Management.
• 2+ years of public speaking or staff training experience (bar, restaurant, or other).
• Media experience such as performing on video, live TV, or teaching seminars to groups of 30+ people is a strong asset.
• Experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry.
• Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends for events.
