The role

Own the end-to-end performance of a portfolio of brands on Amazon Canada and the U.S. You’ll be responsible for growing sales profitably, keeping products in stock without creating excess inventory, improving listings and conversion rates, launching new products, and managing the day-to-day relationship with brand partners.

This is primarily an account management and analytical role with a strong marketing component.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the overall Amazon performance of assigned brands.
  • Forecast inventory requirements and place purchases far enough in advance to maintain strong in-stock rates.
  • Prevent and actively reduce excess and aging inventory.
  • Evaluate potential new product launches using market, competitive, profitability, and demand data.
  • Manage new brand and product launches from evaluation through execution.
  • Develop and improve Amazon listings, including images, titles, bullets, descriptions, and positioning.
  • Coordinate with designers, copywriters, suppliers, and internal team members to produce high-quality listing content.
  • Monitor sales, profitability, conversion rates, advertising performance, rankings, and other key brand metrics.
  • Run A/B tests and identify opportunities to improve conversion and sales.
  • Manage pricing and advertising decisions with profitability in mind.
  • Source and recommend new product opportunities for existing brand partners.
  • Communicate forecasts, launch plans, content requirements, purchasing needs, and performance updates to suppliers.
  • Continuously improve the systems and processes used to manage brands.
How success is measured
  • In‑stock rate across the products you manage.
  • Amount of excess and aging inventory.
  • Total sales generated by your portfolio of managed brands.
  • Profitability and margin.
  • Quality of supplier and brand‑partner communication.
  • Quality of Amazon listing content.
  • Successful execution of product launches.
  • Improvements in conversion rate, advertising performance, rankings, and overall brand performance.
Required qualifications & Skills
  • Strong analytical ability and comfort working with numbers, data, and ROI-based decisions.
  • Strong creative judgment, particularly around e-commerce images, copy, and product positioning.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage many different priorities, products, and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to anticipate problems before they happen and plan well in advance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of outcomes.
  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar products and categories.
  • Comfortable using data to make forecasting, inventory, marketing, and product-launch decisions.
  • Experience in marketing, e-commerce, account management, brand management, business, analytics, or a related field.
What makes someone great here
  • Previous experience at an Amazon agency or e-commerce agency.
  • Experience managing Amazon accounts or brands.
  • Experience growing a consumer brand or owning meaningful responsibility for one.
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central, Sellerboard, Keepa, SellerAmp, SmartScout, or similar e-commerce tools.
  • Experience evaluating and launching new products.
  • Strong examples of e-commerce listing content, copywriting, creative direction, or conversion-rate optimization.
