Job summary

Wood Gundy at CIBC in Edmonton is seeking a Branch Administrator to manage all administrative aspects of the Wood Gundy branch. You will provide operational support to the branch and Investment Advisors, oversee transactional banking functions, and ensure compliance and profitability.

The role requires on-site, full-time work Monday–Friday with a focus on high-level client service in a busy brokerage environment.

Qualifications

• CIRO-ID accreditation current and in good standing.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills for a fast-paced brokerage.
• Excellent communication with staff and clients and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day branch operations and administration, including office supplies and events, and monitor branch budget and expenses.
• Assist Branch Manager with Investment Advisor duties: take buy/sell orders, coordinate trades, and ensure accuracy of trade tickets; liaise across departments.
