Branch Manager, Personal Banking

A career as a Branch Manager in the Victoria Personal Banking team at National Bank is to act as a leader and client experience champion. This role allows you to have a positive impact on the organization through strategic leadership, coaching expertise, and in-depth knowledge of personal and cash management banking.

Your Responsibilities

  • Ensure the delivery of a personalized and proactive client experience across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Meet objectives related to business growth, client satisfaction, and team development.
  • Drive growth in deposits, lending, and full-service relationships, including banking and wealth products.
  • Apply sound risk and operational management in line with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Coach, mentor, and engage employees to support performance and career development.
  • Identify and pursue local business opportunities to strengthen community and client relationships.

Your Team

Within the Victoria branch, you will be part of a team of dedicated professionals, overseeing 7 direct reports. Our team is known for its collaborative culture, high engagement, and strong client focus. We offer a flexible hybrid work environment and adaptable hours to promote work-life balance.

Basic Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.

  • Strong knowledge of personal banking, deposits, lending, and cash management.
  • Ability to assess and approve credit requests responsibly.
  • Willingness to travel locally for market development and client engagement.
