Job summary

Qualifications

  • Mutual funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) is required and a license in mutual funds sales is preferred.
  • Exams for mutual fund branch management offered by CSI; ability to write within 4 months of start date.
  • Minimum 3 years in a people management role.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for business acquisition and growth.
  • Ability to drive client awareness via RBC digital channels and multichannel use.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results and support new client acquisitions through multiple channels, including your team and local partners.
  • Lead change and allocate resources to meet community needs, grow sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning.
  • Inspire and pioneer superior retailing excellence to deliver a memorable client experience.
  • Coach your team on client advice, problem resolution at first contact, and ensure RBC digital enablement.
  • Close gaps identified through operations, credit effectiveness, and compliance reviews.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC)andminimum 2 years of licensedmutual funds sales experience within the last 3 years

  • Completedan acceptable mutual fund branch management exam offered by the CSI,or abilityto writeanexam within 4 months of startdate

  • Minimum 3 years in a people management role

  • Ability toemploydigital channels,drive client awareness,and ensure your team is enabling clients with RBC digitalaccess

Nice-to-have
  • Experience in both business and personalbanking

  • Strongtrack recordof building andmaintainingclient relationships in the finance or service sector
