Job summary

RBC seeks a Branch Manager in Riverview, NB to lead a local team, drive client acquisition, and deliver exceptional in-branch and community service. You will pilot multi-channel sales strategies, manage resources, and ensure high employee engagement while upholding regulatory and credit standards.

You will mentor staff, foster strong client relationships, and act as an RBC ambassador in the community with a focus on growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

  • Mutual funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) and at least 2 years of licensed mutual funds sales in the last 3 years.
  • Completed mutual fund branch management exam offered by CSI, or ability to write within 4 months of start date.
  • Minimum 3 years in a people management role.
  • Entrepreneurial business acquisition mindset.
  • Ability to drive client awareness and enable RBC digital access with the team.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver results and support new client acquisitions through multiple channels.
  • Lead change and allocate resources to meet community needs and grow sales, revenue, and market share.
  • Ensure high employee engagement through recruitment, development, and career planning.
  • Inspire and innovate to deliver a superior client experience in retail banking.
  • Coach team on client advice, resolution, and promotion of digital/multichannel usage.
  • Address gaps identified through operational, credit, and compliance reviews.

What will you do?

  • Lead change and allocate resources to meet the needs of the community, growing sales, revenue, and market share
  • Ensure high employee engagement through recruiting, talent management, development, and career planning
  • Inspire, orchestrate, and pioneer superior retailing excellence to deliver a memorable client experience
  • Coach your team on client advice and education, problem resolution and prevention at first point of contact, and advocate for digital enablement and multichannel usage
  • Take appropriate actions to close gaps identified through operational, credit effectiveness, and compliance reviews and reports
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Mutual Funds accreditation (IFIC or CSC) and minimum 2 years of licensed mutual funds sales experience within the last 3 years
