Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Branch Manager in Canada to lead daily operations, drive sales initiatives and ensure safety, productivity and profitability at the branch level. The role requires strong leadership and customer service skills, with a focus on budgeting and reporting.

Responsibilities include P&L oversight, personnel management, audits and regulatory compliance, and collaboration with teams to achieve business goals. Valid license required; comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of successful business management experience with profit and loss responsibility at a branch or other individual profit center.
• An understanding of business accounting principles and budget preparation.
• Strong sales and customer service experience required, outside sales experience preferred.
• Effective leadership, motivational, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and experience using Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge and experience in the equipment rental industry preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
