Job description

Under the supervision of the Regional Director, the duties and responsibilities of the Branch Manager include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Direct the day-to-day activities of the Operations Managers
  • Manage and grow provincial accounts
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients
  • Assist Regional Director with revenue growth, employee and customer retention
  • Respond to new customer sales requests and inquiries
  • Manage existing customer service requests, inquiries and escalations
  • Provide support in managing employee or customer issues that Operations Managers may have
  • Be knowledgeable of technical data concerning pesticides used, and their application in accordance to the label
  • Learn and provide technical know-how on leading industry trends
  • Implement company programs, initiatives, and current operational guidelines
  • Accountable for operating within company and business unit policies and procedures; create an environment that motivates employees to be successful
  • Maintain Inventory Control, including ordering; truck and account audits; warehouse inventory counts
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • 5 years industry experience, or equivalent combination of education is an asset
  • 5 years’ experience managing managers in a fast-paced environment required
  • Strong Business acumen
  • Ability managing and leading assigned projects and employees
  • Ability to manage administrative duties along with field work
  • Excellent organizational and time management
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Excellence in clear and concise feedback, performance management and coaching
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint/ Documents, Sheets, Gmail, and Slides) at an intermediate level
  • Valid driver’s License
  • Valid Pest Control License or willing to obtain
  • High school diploma; university degree preferred
  • Licenses/certificates as required by federal and provincial regulations
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • Ability to work at heights and lift in excess of fifty pounds
