Job summary

Weber Supply is seeking a detail-oriented team member to handle order entry from email, fax, mail, phone, EDI, and online channels. You will work with the shipping team to expedite rush orders and provide delivery information to customers, while also handling inquiries from customers, vendors and sales reps.

Beyond data entry, the role includes providing MSDS sheets as needed, resolving customer concerns, and offering quotations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
• Experience with online order systems is preferred.
• WHMIS / GHS and Safe Lifting knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter/review orders submitted by email, fax, mail, phone, EDI and online.
• Coordinate with shipping to expedite rush orders and provide delivery information to customers.
• Provide MSDS sheets where and when necessary.
• Answer calls and emails from customers, vendors, and outside sales reps.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns; provide quotations on request.
• Maintain knowledge of product lines by attending training sessions.
• Support warehouse duties: receiving, put away, picking, packing.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support branch operations.

Job description

• Enter / review orders submitted by email, fax, mail, phone, E.D.I. and online
• Work with the team in shipping to expedite rush orders and provide delivery information to customers
• Provide (M)SDS sheets where and when necessary
• Answer customer, vendor, and outside sales representative’s calls / emails
• Handle customer complaints and concerns
• Provide quotations to customers and sales representatives upon request
• Maintain knowledge level on product lines by attending a variety of training sessions
• Warehouse duties such as receiving, put away, picking, and packing
• Perform all reasonable directions given to you by the Company, including but not limited to, all warehouse duties, deliveries, VMI duties, customer service duties, and any other requirement requested of you, from time to time, in support of the branch operations.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of industrial MRO and OHE safety is preferred
• WHMIS / GHS and Safe Lifting knowledge is preferred

Physical/Mental Demands:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Experience with online order systems
• Willing and capable of learning new skills and transferring that knowledge immediately and accurately
• Occasionally lift/move objects that range from 10-50 lbs
• Frequently sitting, standing, walking, crouching, bending and infrequent climbing, carrying, pushing and pulling of skids via a pump truck and products via a dolly
