Job summary

Dillon's Small Batch Distillers is seeking dependable team members to assist in packaging and quality control within a craft distillery environment. You will pack bottles, maintain clean packaging areas, and help identify gaps in processes while supporting colleagues.

We value ownership, strong time management, and willingness to learn. This role involves standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs, with comprehensive training and team-oriented culture.

Responsibilities

• Pack filled bottles into boxes or cartons and stack onto pallets.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure product is in proper condition.
• Identify process gaps and support teammates when needed.
• Keep packaging areas clean and tidy.
• Report larger or complex problems to the Bottling Line Supervisor.

Job description

• Pack filled bottles into boxes or cartons and stack them onto pallets
• Perform quality control checks and ensure product is in proper condition
• Ability to identify process gaps and support other team members when needed
• Ensure packaging areas are kept clean and tidy
• Perform basic problem solving techniques and report large or complex problems to the Bottling Line Supervisor

Compliance

• Ensuring all legislated and company issued policies are followed (WSIB, GMP, WHMIS, etc.)
• Actively participate in Health & Safety Programs and ensure all required PPE is worn at all times while in the production facility (ex. Safety boots, vest, etc.)

Communication

• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor as required
• Other duties as assigned when not operating equipment
