Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Montreal is seeking a System Engineer BOP who will bridge engineering and project management for Balance of Plant equipment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, experience in hydroelectricity, and strong communication skills in both French and English. This full-time position offers a salary between CA$100,000 – CA$110,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience in hydroelectricity or related design and manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and technical coordination experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction groups.
• Organize internal and customer meetings regarding technical activities.
• Ensure stakeholders correctly interpret technical specifications.
• Define technical strategy in collaboration with Project Manager.
• Participate in supplier selection and negotiations.
• Ensure timely and quality engineering deliverables.
• Follow-up on Non-Conformances and Change Management.
