Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (BOP) to lead all Balance of Plant electrical activities for large-scale power projects. You will coordinate between engineering, utilities, suppliers, project management, and construction to ensure reliable electrical systems across the Monark program.

You will define design criteria, drive standardization, and supervise studies (load flow, short-circuit, stability, protection) while working with stakeholders like OPG and Bruce Power to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with P.Eng designation.
• 15+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in complex industrial/energy projects.
• Experience in nuclear, power generation, transmission, and large industrial environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead BOP electrical engineering activities for large-scale power generation projects.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces between BOP, Nuclear Island, and utilities.
• Perform load flow, fault, stability, and protection studies; oversee procurement and construction support.
