Job summary

RONA is seeking a reliable delivery driver to join our delivery team in Sainte-Marie. You will participate in preparing deliveries, load and secure pallets, and perform deliveries to homes and construction sites while tracking shipments to meet deadlines.

You will maintain the vehicle, follow health and safety policies, provide excellent customer service, and help ensure the store runs smoothly with safe driving practices.

Qualifications

• A valid class 3 driver's license and an excellent driving record.
• 1 year relevant experience.
• A focus on health and safety in the workplace.
• Good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of deliveries and the vehicle used, such as securing pallets, holding related documentation, etc.
• Carry out deliveries to homes and construction sites
• Track shipments until they reach their destination, while respecting delivery deadlines
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance, document daily inspections and ensure the safety of all equipment
• Work in accordance with store health and safety and loss prevention policies and procedures
• Know and apply road safety rules
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
