Job summary

RONA in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu is hiring a delivery driver to join our team and help bring projects to life for homeowners and contractors.

You will prepare deliveries, drive to homes and construction sites, track shipments, perform basic vehicle checks, and uphold health and safety policies. A Class 3 license with a clean driving record and physical fitness are required; prior delivery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 3 driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• 1 year relevant delivery experience.
• Good physical condition.
• Focus on health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the preparation of deliveries and the vehicle used, such as securing pallets and related documentation.
• Carry out deliveries to homes and construction sites.
• Track shipments until they reach their destination, respecting delivery deadlines.
• Perform standard vehicle maintenance and daily inspections.
• Ensure compliance with store health and safety and loss prevention policies.
• Know and apply road safety rules.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.
