TELUS Health is looking for a Medical Imaging Technologist to join an amazing multi-disciplinary team at our Toronto Bay Street Care Centre. This is a Casual Part-Time position.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting client-centered, team-based care by performing medical imaging procedures such as x-rays and bone density scans. They will practice in accordance with the vision and values of TELUS Health Care Centres, prioritizing client safety and experience.

What you’ll do

• Perform medical imaging procedures according to prescriptions and protocols during business hours.
• Act as the Radiation Protection Officer.
• Perform daily Quality Assurance.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, including:
• Medical appointments
• Registering patients
• Providing procedural explanations, positioning, and scanning
• Disinfecting environments
• Participating in implementing directives from Accreditation Canada
• Following up with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications

What you bring

• Graduate of an accredited medical radiology program.
• Sonography certification and experience are assets.
• Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
• Strong professional judgment, organization, and time management skills.
• Problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and data analysis abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer knowledge.
• Experience operating a GE Prodigy Bone Densitometry device is a strong asset.

Salary Range: $24-$46 per hour
