Job summary

Carmichael Engineering in Dartmouth, NS, is seeking a Combustion Technician (Oil/Propane) to install, service, and troubleshoot combustion and heating systems at client sites across Atlantic Canada.

The ideal candidate holds a Licensed Combustion Service technician (Boiler experience) with gas licence, and has strong problem-solving and customer-service skills. Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair combustion, and heating systems.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Job Title: Combustion Technician (Oil/Propane)

Work Location: 10 Morris Dr, Dartmouth, NS B3B 1K8

Salary Range: To be determined, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair Combustion, and Heating systems.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with Combustion equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships.

• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements:

• A Licensed Combustion Service technician (Boiler experience) with 5 years’ experience

• Gas licence is required

• Oil Burner licence is an asset

• HVAC experience would be considered an asset

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
