Job summary

JD Sports Canada in Pickering, ON is seeking a Back of House Manager to lead stockroom operations, inbound/outbound shipments, and inventory accuracy within a fast-paced sport-fashion retail environment. You will manage a team, coordinate with store leadership, and ensure daily processes run smoothly from 8am starts to occasional weekends.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in stockroom or distribution, 2+ years of people leadership, strong communication, accuracy, and a high sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years stockroom and/or distribution center experience.
• 2+ years people management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and task oriented.
• Must have a high sense of urgency. Being proactive and organized.
• Full time availability – early starts with some late nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the stockroom (BOH).
• Oversee inbound deliveries and outbound transfers.
• Coordinate with store leadership and customer service via Slack and email.
• Decrease stock shrinkage by investigating discrepancies and solving issues.
• Oversee store supplies to ensure daily/weekly operations.
• Lead by example and foster an inclusive work environment.
• Mentor new staff and support onboarding and training.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay current with trends.
