Job summary

Cineplex Inc. is seeking a Back of House Supervisor – TRR or Playdium in Edmonton. You will support kitchen leadership, supervise operations, and ensure high-quality menu items and service in a fast-paced, social entertainment environment.

Responsibilities include leading staff, maintaining sanitation, training team members, and ensuring equipment is well-maintained. 3–5 years kitchen experience is preferred with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Requires Secondary School Diploma
• 3-5 years restaurant kitchen experience
• Post-Secondary in Culinary Arts or Hospitality preferred
• Provincial Smart Serve certification where applicable

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen staff to prepare menu items efficiently
• Ensure safe and sanitary food preparation and avoid cross-contamination
• Train and coach kitchen employees
• Report repairs or maintenance for kitchen equipment
• Complete line checks, duty rotation, and temperature logs
• Establish and communicate menu recipe requirements
• Maintain logs of food and beverage waste
• Keep preparation and cooking stations stocked
