Job summary

Fairmont Pacific Rim, located in Vancouver, is seeking a spa professional to deliver exceptional massages and body treatments, while ensuring guest comfort and satisfaction. The role requires availability for weekends, holidays, and evenings, with a focus on personalized guest experiences.

You will maintain accurate records, promote spa services and products, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

What you will be doing:

• Maintain availability and dedication to The Fairmont Stream Spa at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, being available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
• Provide necessary information to compile complete guest records.
• Perform 30, 45, 60, 75 and 90 minute massages and body treatments while accommodating guest's needs and creating individualized experiences.
• Drive and dedication towards the common goal of Forbes 5 star rating.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic and neat work environment at all times; ensure all equipment is in safe working order.
• Consult with guests to understand their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Provide a welcoming and relaxing environment for guests throughout their spa journey.
• Promote spa services and retail products when appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain accurate guest treatment records and notes.
• Follow all spa policies, procedures, and brand standards.
• Work collaboratively with spa colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional guest service.
• Carry out any other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Your experience and skills include:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in a spa, wellness center, or hospitality environment is an asset
• Strong knowledge of body treatments and wellness practices
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a calm, professional, and guest-focused environment
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
