Job summary

Inland Truck & Equipment in Edmonton is seeking a Body Shop Technician who can work as an Apprentice or Journeyperson. The role covers minor to major collision repair on heavy duty trucks, cab and chassis reconstruction, and some body fabrication per manufacturer specs and company standards.

You will perform vehicle repair to restore structural integrity and prepare service documentation, delivering quality work under the on-floor supervisor's guidance at our East Edmonton service location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• 1 year training in a Heavy-Duty Truck fleet or shop environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete frame and structural repairs, body sheet metal, plastic, fiberglass component replacement and alignments.
• Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available.

This position is located at our East Edmonton service location.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Journeyman or Apprentice Autobody Technician who is responsible for is responsible for minor to major collision repair on heavy duty trucks, cab & chassis re-construction as well as some body fabrication according to manufacturer specifications and company standards. Perform vehicle repair to restore the structural integrity of the damaged vehicle, preparing service documentation in accordance with company policy, and performing quality work while adhering to the work assigned to them by the on floor supervisor.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Complete frame and structural repairs, body sheet metal, plastic, fiberglass component replacement and alignments

Stay abreast of technology and attend training as it becomes available

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of

• A High school diploma
• A Heavy Equipment Technician Apprenticeship or Journeyman Certification with Heavy Truck experience
• Minimum 1 year training in a Heavy-Duty Truck fleet or shop environment
