Swimming Canada is seeking nominations for three Director positions on its Board, to be elected at the AGM on September 17, 2025. Candidates should possess skills in finance, governance, legal knowledge, policy development, and strategic planning, with experience in competitive swimming considered an asset. The Board meets regularly and members may serve on various committees.
The Swimming Canada Nominations Committee is seeking nominations for the Board of Directors. The election of Directors will take place at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, September 17, 2025. There are three (3) Director Positions available for election at the AGM, each for a three (3) year term. The Rules governing Nominations and Elections are available on the Swimming Canada website: -general-meeting.
Swimming Canada is committed to attracting, developing, and celebrating a diverse Board of Directors that reflects the community we serve. Experience in competitive swimming (including athletes with or without disabilities) is considered an asset.

Persons interested in being nominated for Director at the AGM must submit the following materials via the provided link no later than 9 PM ET on Friday, July 4, 2025. The Nominations Committee will review each nomination and conduct interviews with selected candidates. Early submission is encouraged.
All profiles will be translated, posted publicly on the Swimming Canada website, and circulated to AGM delegates. Documents may be edited for consistency and confidentiality. Candidates should submit information they are comfortable sharing publicly.
Interviews for selected candidates will be conducted virtually on Monday, August 11, or Tuesday, August 12, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM ET.
