Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Blockchain Solutions Developer to design, build, and deploy decentralized applications in Kimberley. You will work across the full development lifecycle to create robust, scalable solutions using distributed ledger technologies.

Ideal candidates have strong experience in smart contract development, Ethereum-like platforms, and modern web frontends (JavaScript/Node.js/React). A CS degree or equivalent practical experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven software developer with blockchain development focus.
• Smart contract development in Solidity or Vyper.
• Experience with Ethereum/Polygon or similar blockchains.
• Familiar with JavaScript, Node.js, React for dApp frontends.
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement smart contracts on blockchain platforms, ensuring their security and efficiency.
• Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps) using relevant frameworks and technologies.
• Integrate blockchain solutions with existing systems and third-party applications.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization of blockchain applications.
