Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is hiring a Block Chain Architect for digital assets and tokenization initiatives in a hybrid Toronto setting. You will lead enterprise architecture, define scalable architectures, and guide secure smart contract strategy across multiple platforms.

The role requires hands-on leadership, exposure to public and private networks, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading blockchain platform architectures and solution strategies.
• Knowledge of public and permissioned networks and security best practices.
• Familiarity with ERC standards (ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-3643, ERC-1400).
• Ability to drive architecture governance and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise architecture and solution strategy for blockchain-enabled digital assets and tokenization platforms.
• Define scalable end-to-end architectures across backend services, frontends, smart contracts, and networks.
• Provide architectural leadership for smart contract standards with focus on security and upgradeability.
• Design integration strategies for MPC wallet providers and institutional custody workflows.
• Establish architecture standards for Web3 apps using Ethers.js, Viem, Wagmi, Node.js, Go, or Rust.
• Drive smart contract audit governance, KYC/AML integration, and transaction monitoring.
• Lead architecture governance, ADRs, and cross-functional mentorship of engineering teams.

Title: Block Chain Architect - Digital Assets & Tokenization

Hybrid: 2- 3 days onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Full Stack Architect – Digital Assets & Tokenization

Lead enterprise architecture and solution strategy for blockchain-enabled digital asset and tokenization platforms, including real-world assets, digital securities, and institutional custody workflows.

Define scalable end-to-end architectures across backend services, React/Next.js frontends, smart contracts, EVM networks, and enterprise blockchain platforms such as Hyperledger Besu and Kaleido.

Provide architectural leadership for smart contract standards, including ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, ERC-3643, and ERC-1400, with a focus on security, upgradeability, and gas optimization.

Design integration strategies for MPC wallet providers such as Fireblocks, DFNS, Turnkey, and BitGo, including secure transaction signing and institutional custody workflows.

Establish architecture standards for Web3 applications using Ethers.js, Viem, Wagmi, Node.js, Go, or Rust to support scalable and reliable platforms.

Drive smart contract audit governance, KYC/AML integration, transaction monitoring, and compliance requirements across tokenized asset solutions.

Lead architecture governance, technical roadmaps, ADRs, and cross-functional collaboration while mentoring engineering teams and ensuring production-ready implementations.
