Job summary

Brock University is seeking an Administrative Professional on a fixed-term contract (through September 2028) to support Black students’ persistence and success. The role focuses on coordinating transition programs, connecting students to housing, financial and mental health resources, and conducting research to strengthen support pathways.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in psychology, social work, or social sciences.
• Strong understanding of NEET Youth and equity, diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assist students in identifying barriers to persistence, wellbeing, career readiness, and post-graduation success.
• Facilitate referrals to campus and community services for housing, financial stability, mental health, transportation, employment, and other student needs.
• Contribute to research, assessment, and evaluation activities including surveys and focus groups.
• Provide transition coaching and planning for Black students from secondary school through graduation and beyond.
• Support students navigating academic, personal, financial, and career transitions.
