Job summary

BrokerLink Inc. is hiring for a Commercial IBU Service Team Insurance Advisor in Ontario.

You will handle renewals, sales, prospecting and servicing an existing provincial commercial book, building trust and maintaining a strong client list while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include providing front-line sales for small to mid-market commercial accounts, advising clients on coverage, and generating new business through cold calls and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Minimum P&C insurance sales experience required.
• Valid RIBO license required or can be pursued upon selection.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license required.
• Strong customer focus and sales acumen.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line sales and customer service for commercial insurance accounts via inbound calls.
• Advise and counsel clients on coverage and recommendations based on their needs.
• Generate new business in commercial lines through calls, letters, and inbound inquiries.

• Incentive plan Commissions & other performance incentives: Expected, but not limited payout potential of 10-15% of salary (subject to personal and team performance)

About the role Commercial IBU Service Team Insurance Advisor

In this role, you will be responsible for renewals, sales, prospecting and servicing an existing Provincial Commercial Book of Business. You will establish a climate of trust, develop and maintain a strong client list, close commercial sales, and provide excellent and timely customer service. If you are motivated, sales oriented and have a passion for exceptional customer experience, retention and growth, we want to meet you!

What you'll do here:

• Provide front-line sales and customer service for small to Mid-Market Commercial Insurance accounts via inbound calls
• Advise and counsel both new and existing clients on their coverage and provide recommendations based on their needs.
• Generate new business in commercial lines through cold calls or introductory letters as well as answering in-bound calls and walk-in clients.
• Work independently under the general supervision of the Commercial Insurance Manager. Helping customers find insurance solutions that meet their needs.

What you'll bring to the table:

• Prior P&C insurance sales experience required; Commercial insurance experience an asset.
• Valid RIBO License required. Can work towards upon a successful selection.
• Valid Ontario driver's license.
• Strong customer focus and sales acumen.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Collaborative approach with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Accountable, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Exposure to EPIC is an asset.
