R. Denninger Limited in Southern Ontario is seeking a Bistro Associate to serve customers courteously, assist with food preparation, and keep the Bistro counter well stocked and visually appealing.

This role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Flexible scheduling and staff discount programs are available, with opportunities for career advancement. Prior experience in food service is an asset.

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring all customers at the Bistro are served in a courteous and efficient manner.

Bistro Department Head.

Job Duties

• Serves customers meals and other products in the Bistro.
• Food preparation and meal service.
• Ensures that the Bistro counter display is well stocked in a visually appealing manner.
• Ensures proper product rotation in the Bistro counter and coolers.
• Assists with cash transactions.
• Monitor quality of product and report any concerns to the Bistro Department Supervisor.
• May assist with Curbside orders.
• All other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Experience working with ovens, knives, grills is an asset.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff and other departments within the organization.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the store.

Essential Job Functions

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders.
• Bend and twist the upper body, reach above and below shoulders.
• Bend and lift loads, up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
