Summary

The Biosample Operator I (BSO I) for CellCarta Logistics reports to the Manager, Biosample Management. The BSO’s focus is to ensure shipment tracking and sample management are done accurately and on time, providing clients with quick and consistent data and information.

The BSO I is expected to work effectively with the Project Management team and department colleagues to ensure data and queries are addressed promptly or escalated as needed.

Responsibilities

• Biosample tracking : Track shipments from pickup to delivery, notify sites and labs of incoming shipments, identify and log issues, and attempt resolution with couriers.
• Biosample registration : Register sample data upon receipt, review registrations, and query discrepancies or missing data.
• Admin tasks : Ensure that services performed are documented and made available to relevant teams.
• Compliance : Work in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
• Follow-up : Address problems and inform project managers and management when necessary.

Education

• Secondary Education diploma or equivalent.

Main Requirements

• Previous data entry experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel is an asset.

• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

Physical Requirements
