MacEwan University’s Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for an entry-level, full-time tenure-track Laboratory Supervisor, commencing July 1, 2027, subject to budget approval. You will deliver labs BIOL 108 and BIOL 208, develop curriculum, and coordinate instructors in multi-section courses.

You must hold an MSc in Biological Sciences with a background in organismal biology or ecology and have teaching/leadership experience in a biology lab or field setting.

Formación

• Requires MSc in Biological Sciences with background in organismal biology/ecology or related discipline.
• Relevant teaching and leadership experience in a biology laboratory or field environment is required.
• Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Support curriculum development for lab components of core courses BIOL 108 and BIOL 208.
• Prepare lab manuals and lab assessments; manage course resources in the LMS.
• Coordinate laboratory instructors in multi-section courses and deliver lab instruction.
• Contribute to the continued success of the Biological Sciences major within the BSc degree.
