We partner with organizations to train large AI language models, helping generative AI models provide better biology responses. Projects involve various fields such as Molecular & Cellular Biology, Genetics & Evolution, and Ecology & Environmental Biology, requiring interaction with these models as they learn. No previous AI experience is required.

About The Opportunity

Outlier is seeking talented biology experts to help train generative AI models. This freelance, remote opportunity offers flexible hours, with an expectation of 30-40 hours per week.

You Can Contribute By

• Developing and answering biology questions to help train AI models
• Evaluating and classifying responses generated by AI models

Experience Needed

• Currently pursuing or having completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in biology from a reputable institution
• Proficiency in biology projects
• Ability to communicate complex concepts fluently in English (written and spoken)
• Strong attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style
