Qualifications

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Bioinformatics Analyst to join their team in Kimberley . This role is essential for supporting various research projects by analyzing complex biological data. You will be responsible for processing next-generation sequencing data, performing statistical analyses, and generating reports to help researchers interpret their findings. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in computational biology and bioinformatics tools, coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a desire to contribute to scientific advancements in a dynamic research setting.


Key Responsibilities


  • Process and analyze next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including whole-genome, exome, and RNA-Seq data.

  • Perform statistical analysis of biological data to identify significant trends and correlations.

  • Develop and implement bioinformatics pipelines for data analysis.

  • Generate clear and informative reports and visualizations of analysis results.

  • Collaborate with researchers to define data analysis requirements and interpret findings.

Requirements
