We are looking for our next dynamic BIM Modeler to join our Civil East sector to support our transformative major infrastructure projects.
What You'll Do Here:
- Elaborate BIM models and 2D drawings
- Model preparation for 4D / 5D simulations and Quantity Takes Off
- Preliminary clash detection and design depuration
- Support the team with ACC / Navisworks coordination model
- Create and validate surface models in Civil 3D
- Workshop drawings and final work plans
- Cover the duties of other members of the BIM team if needed
- Elaborate as-built plans and models
- Provide coordination reports of the interfaces between engineering disciplines, design, and construction / temporary and permanent works design activities through the IDD process
- Project deployment duties include installing software, organizing, maintaining, and setting up CAD exchange environments, basic training & support for project team, coordination assistance, file conversions, and documenting processes and solutions for reuse
- Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will enhance or improve processes
- Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education in civil engineering, computer science, and/or relevant industry experience
- Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings
- 2 years drafting experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit
- Proficiency with BIM authoring tools such as REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley
- Proficiency in 4D platforms such as Navisworks, Synchro
- Knowledge of Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, ProjectWise, and Aconex
- Detailed understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities
- Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle would be desirable
- Experience working on large, complex infrastructure projects would be desirable
- Understanding of design and construction phases and alignment with Digital Plans
- Project experience with implementation of BIM process
- On-site construction experience would be desirable
- Strong written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in priority setting, multitasking, working with minimal supervision
