• Education in civil engineering or computer science.

We are looking for our next dynamic BIM Modeler to join our Civil East sector to support our transformative major infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do Here

• Elaborate BIM models and 2D drawings
• Model preparation for 4D/5D simulations and Quantity Takes Off
• Preliminary clash detection and design depuration
• Support the team with ACC/Navisworks coordination model
• Create and validate surface models in Civil 3D
• Workshop drawings and final work plans
• Cover the duties of other members of the BIM team if needed
• Elaborate as-built plans and models
• Providing coordination reports of the interfaces between engineering disciplines / design and construction / temporary and permanent works design activities, through the IDD process
• Project deployment duties include installing software, organizing, maintaining, and setting up CAD exchange environments, basic training & support for project team, coordination assistance, file conversions and documenting process and solutions for reuse
• Identify opportunities and recommend solutions that will enhance or improve processes
• Drive an inclusive culture to promote equity, welcome different perspectives, and enable career progression by fostering a sense of belonging
  
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Education in civil engineering, computer science and/or relevant industry experience
• Experience with 3D modeling and 2D drawings
• 2+ years drafting experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit
• Proficiency with BIM authoring tools such as REVIT, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley
• Proficiency in 4D platforms such as Navisworks simulate and Synchro
• Knowledge of Common Data Environments such as Autodesk Construction Cloud ProjectWise, and Aconex
• Detailed understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities
• Experience across all stages of a project lifecycle would be desirable
• Experience working on large complex infrastructure projects would be desirable
• Understanding design and construction phases and alignment with Digital Plans
• Project experience with implementation of BIM process
• On-site construction experience would be desirable
• Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven experience in priority setting, multitasking, and working with minimal direct supervision
