Job summary

Alstom in Toronto, ON is seeking a full-time BIM Coordinator to join our mobility solutions team. You will coordinate and design with Revit, Civil 3D, and related tools, validating models and ensuring BEP compliance across subsystems.

You’ll collaborate with civil partners, review inputs, create federated models, and lead coordination meetings. A BIM/AutoCAD certification and 5+ years of coordination experience are preferred; strong teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering or equivalent education.
• BIM and/or AutoCAD Certification.
• Hands‑on experience with Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and GIS.
• 5+ years of BIM coordination experience on complex projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to collaborate with customers and partners.
• Quality‑focused and rigorous with a strong sense of teamwork.
• Strong decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilience with an analytical mindset to solve complex coordination issues.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and coordinating BIM inputs across subsystems and civil partners.
• Creating and validating models to BEP requirements.
• Coordinating between subsystems and other civil partners on the project.
• Assisting in creating and maintaining the federated model.
• Facilitating coordination meetings and documenting outcomes.
• Ensuring proper use and updates of BIM guidelines and processes.
