As part of our company's ongoing development, we are looking for a BIM Coordinator within our Heritage team at our Montreal office. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play an essential role in developing our employees' skills by providing help with Revit, creating or developing components (families), and working with the BIM manager to evolve our standards and apply them in our projects. The ideal candidate possesses at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the BIM manager and project managers to define a BIM implementation plan
  • Coordinate construction documents and models from various disciplines (structure, mechanical, electrical...) and combine digital models to ensure an accurate representation of the project
  • Participate in technical design and production, solve technical problems
  • Assist and train other team members to support them in using REVIT
  • Maintain models, perform audits and solve problems
  • Assist the BIM manager and project managers to apply a project-specific work method
  • Create general parametric components applicable to the office to enhance our EVOQ library and project-specific components
  • Perform advanced tasks in models such as exporting and importing data from a model
  • Ensure quality control of models
Your Profile
  • College diploma (DEC) in architectural technology or environmental design
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BIM coordination (or as a resource person)
  • Mastery of Autodesk Revit software
  • Knowledge of other BIM-related tools (such as ACC Docs and ACC Build) is an important asset
  • Excellent knowledge of REVIT models from point clouds is an asset
  • Understanding of architectural design principles and construction techniques is an asset
  • Good knowledge of construction phases, collaborative work, interdisciplinary coordination, and variations in Revit are assets
  • Bilingualism (French/English) would be an asset, as you will also be called upon to work with our Ontario office
