Job Description

Parsons is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to work on innovative projects that enhance our community. In this role, you will support scope development, management, and technical performance of third-party design consultants and contractors to achieve project goals related to BIM. You will also support planning, define project objectives, and contribute your discipline-specific expertise as part of the design management team.

What You’ll Be Doing

1. Provide progress and performance updates regularly to clients and project leads.
2. Support the setup and configuration of the Common Data Environment (CDE) for project use, e.g., ProjectWise, BIM 360.
3. Develop and maintain BIM software templates to ensure compliance with standards.
4. Develop, monitor, and report on BIM execution and information delivery plans.
5. Manage and validate project design delivery, including modeling, detailing, and scheduling.
6. Ensure the quality of all BIM package submissions according to standards and project requirements.
7. Oversee clash detection, resolution processes, and model coordination.
8. Support data collection and validate models for COBie during the design stage.
9. Prepare validation reports for BIM milestone submissions.
10. Oversee model validation and data export for design and commercial activities.
11. Assist the quality team with audits and record non-conformance issues.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10+ years of experience with BIM in the built environment.
• Broad technical, project management, and business background.
• Professional registration (e.g., AIA, RIBA, CEng, PE, LEED) is preferred.
• Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, BIM 360, and others.
