Job summary

Precision Drilling in Calgary on-site is seeking a Billings Analyst responsible for ensuring accurate and timely customer invoicing, resolving billing discrepancies, and supporting month-end accruals. You will collaborate with Operations, Contracts, Marketing, Finance, and Accounts Payable to maintain billing accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience with SAP, and solid attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; oil and gas industry experience and billing/accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience with SAP and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Critical thinker with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely drilling invoices in accordance with customer contracts and billing requirements.
  • Analyze rig tour sheets, daily activity reports, and contracts to validate charge rates and billing accuracy.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Contracts, Marketing, Finance, and Accounts Payable to support billing and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain well files, supporting documentation, and historical records within SharePoint and other systems.
  • Support month-end accruals, customer inquiries, backup coverage, and other billing-related projects as required.
