Job summary

Precision Drilling Corporation is seeking a Billings Analyst in Calgary to manage invoicing accurately, resolve discrepancies, and support month-end accruals. The role interfaces with Operations, Contracts, Marketing, Finance, and Accounts Payable to ensure contracts are billed correctly and on time.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, experience in oil and gas billing, and familiarity with SAP. You will maintain records in SharePoint, uphold compliance with company policies, and

• High school diploma required; oil and gas industry experience and billing/accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Critical thinker with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit accurate and timely drilling invoices in accordance with customer contracts and billing requirements
• Analyze rig tour sheets, daily activity reports, and contracts to validate charge rates and billing accuracy
• Coordinate with Operations, Contracts, Marketing, Finance, and Accounts Payable to support billing and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain well files, supporting documentation, and historical records within SharePoint and other systems
• Support month - end accruals, customer inquiries, backup coverage, and other billing - related projects as required
