Job description

Randie Wilson & Company is centrally located in downtown Vancouver and is one of the few law firms in British Columbia which restricts its practice almost exclusively to foreclosures, collection and execution litigation security enforcement and general insolvency matters.

Randie Wilson & Company has one of the larger foreclosure practices in British Columbia as well as a large contingency collection practice and we represent a broad cross-section of large institutional lenders as well as private lenders.

Since 1996, the practice has focused almost exclusively on mortgage enforcement and unsecured collections which has allowed us to develop a high level of expertise in our chosen practice areas to better serve our clients in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible.

Randie Wilson & Company is currently seeking an accounting clerk for full time work. We require individuals who can handle a high-volume of work and who are technically inclined. Experience in PCLaw would be a definite asset.

Standard Responsibilities:

Preparing and posting invoices

Receipt of client payments

Preparing & posting of trust receipts and trust disbursements

Bank reconciliations of general and trust accounts

Other accounting tasks as required

Qualifications:

Post-secondary accounting courses

2 to 3 years of experience in an accounting environment- preference will be given to individuals with experience in a legal setting and experience in PCLaw

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, well organized & methodical

Ability to manage high volume of work

Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment

Strong communication skills

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

Sound knowledge of accounting procedures
