TVO Media Education Group in Toronto, ON is seeking a Manager, Web and Mobile Delivery (Bilingual) to lead a team delivering TVO’s web and mobile applications. This on-site role reports to the Director, Web Development and works within the Product and Technology division.

The position requires 5+ years in software engineering, 3+ years of leadership of full-stack teams, and fluency in English and French. The annual salary range is $95,000-$105,000, with a target to drive public education

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience across coding, architecture, and systems design.
3+ years leading full-stack development teams (10+ developers) in an agile environment.
Proficiency in both English and French to support effective communication with external partners.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and system design.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of software developers to build, enhance, and support TVO’s web and mobile applications.
Oversee portfolio execution, balance multiple workstreams, manage budget and resourcing.
Set engineering standards and best practices including CI/CD and accessibility.
Ensure solutions meet security, resilience, and performance requirements.
Lead agile development practices and manage risks and dependencies.
Build and scale a high-performing team through hiring and coaching.
