Contract Period: 6 months
Location: Montreal, QC
Location Type: Hybrid; 3 days on site Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday – must be able to commit to hybrid, this is a requirement
Business Hours: Monday to Friday; 9 AM to 5 PM
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1) Fluency in Canadian French and English, with excellent written communication skills in both languages and a deep understanding of linguistic nuances and cultural context. Strong understanding of the French language in Canada, particularly Quebec.
2) Experience in proofreading and editing French translations in a professional setting
3) Strong attention to detail and exceptional grammar and spelling skills in French
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Experience in the financial industry or wealth and asset management and/or familiarity with financial industry-specific terminology and corporate messaging *strongly preferred
Soft Skills:
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with content and marketing
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Education:
• Bachelors degree preferred in Language, Communications or similar OR equivalent work experience
