JOB SUMMARY
The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate will be responsible for supporting assigned client groups with full cycle recruiting. In addition, the Bilingual Talent Acquisition Associate will be part of the HR team collaborating with various client groups, providing advice, and assisting on all matters related to human resources (HR), particularly, recruiting and onboarding. The bilingual associate will assist Business Partners as they implement HR initiatives and Projects, particularly programs and initiatives that requires bilingual skills.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Working alongside with the hiring manager and the respective HRBPs, assists with the recruitment process, including working with internal clients and recruitment firms (if needed) to coordinate the scheduling of interviews, screening candidates, administering skills evaluation testing, ensuring background checks are completed.
· Participate in various human resources and recruitment related projects to enhance service delivery within the organization.
· Assist with the general onboarding and orientation program for new employees.
· Provides support and assistance to employees regarding benefit, HRIS questions or requests.
· Analyze exit interview data and evaluates the data from these interviews to determine possible areas for improvement.
· Support and act as a backup of employee daily head count reports.
· Keeps HR information filed, organized and confidential.
· Supports in preparing of HR and Wellness Newsletters and takes responsibility for French translation.
· Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
· Adult Education certificate an asset
· Bilingual language (French and English) skills required.
· 2+ years of professional experience in a comparable Recruitment role
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Able to multi-task and effectively manage priorities.
· Must have superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Must have the ability to work independently and as a team member
· Strong problem solving and decision-making capability
· Able to work under pressure in an ever changing and dynamic environment
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other Office applications
· Travel across Canada is required throughout the year (20% of time)
