Job Opportunity: Bilingual Security Professional (Full-Time)Location: Downtown TorontoPay Rate: $20 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some flexibility required)

Allied Universal is currently seeking a Bilingual (English/French required) Security Professional to join our team in Downtown Toronto. This is a full-time opportunity with daytime weekday hours, ideal for individuals seeking stable employment in a professional security environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Access Control: Monitor and manage entry/exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.

  • Visitor Screening: Verify IDs and credentials of visitors, contractors, and employees; issue and track visitor passes.

  • Surveillance Monitoring: Operate CCTV/security systems and watch for unusual or suspicious activity.

  • Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report all incidents, irregularities, or breaches in security protocols.

  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances; coordinate with law enforcement when necessary.

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional assistance to staff and visitors while maintaining a secure environment.

  • Patrol Coordination: Maintain communication with fellow guards to ensure continuous coverage.

  • Regulation Enforcement: Enforce site-specific policies and procedures to maintain safety and compliance.

  • Traffic Management: Direct vehicle flow to prevent congestion and ensure smooth access.

  • Ongoing Training: Participate in regular training and remain up to date on all company and site-specific protocols.

Requirements:
  • Bilingual in English and French (required).

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1–2 years of experience in security field.

  • Valid Ontario Security License.

  • G-Class Driver’s License, clean abstract, and 25+ years of age (for insurance requirements).

  • Must meet 5-year Canadian residency requirement (for RAIC clearance, if applicable).

  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification.

  • Must be legally eligible to work full-time (40 hours/week).

  • Clear criminal background check.

  • Physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 kg.
