Aviso Wealth is seeking a Bilingual Registered Plans Administrator to join our Operations Team in Toronto. You will process requests for registered plan products within CIRO platforms and report to the Supervisor, Registered Plans.

The role requires 2-3 years in the financial industry, strong communication, and the ability to work EST hours. You will collaborate cross-functionally and ensure regulatory deadlines for RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs, and other accounts are met.

Qualifications

• The candidate has post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably Operations or Registered Plans.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong attention to detail.
• Proactive problem-solving with strong analytical skills; customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Process registered plan requests (de-registration, unlocking, withdrawals) within SLA.
• Ensure registrations, contributions, and withdrawals meet regulatory deadlines for RESPs, RRSPs, TFSAs, RIFs, FHSA.
• Investigate inquiries, escalate when needed, and support Registered Plan audits.
• Collaborate with Tax, Estates, Transfers, New Accounts, and Client Account Maintenance.
• Participate in Registered Plan Committee meetings and updates to procedures.

The Opportunity:

We are looking to fill an opening for a Bilingual Registered Plans Administrator to join our Operations Team.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Registered Plans the Bilingual Registered Plans Administrator is responsible for the processing of requests for registered plan products within the CIRO (formerly IIROC and MFDA) platforms.

What your day looks like:

• The administration of registered plan products and processing of requests such as de‑registration, un‑locking, specialized withdrawals, etc.
• Ensure that registrations, contributions, and withdrawals meet the regulatory deadlines for RESPs, RSPs, TFSAs, RIF accounts, FHSA, etc.
• Investigate, respond, and resolve all registered plan related inquiries within SLA deadlines, escalating any issues that require management review and intervention
• Completion of CIRO Registered Plan audits within internal and regulatory deadlines
• Working closely with Tax, Estates, Transfers, New Accounts and Client Account Maintenance for any updates required to registered plans
• Actively participate in Registered Plan Committee Meetings to ensure that trustee and regulatory changes are implemented into procedures and manuals, ensuring they are updated and current
• Remain current on CRA, RQ, ESDC and trustee regulations through the review of legislation, press releases, and industry information bulletins

Your experience and skills:

• Post‑secondary education and/or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Operations or Registered Plans
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management, organizational skills and attention to detail
• Pro‑active problem‑solving abilities with strong analytical skills
• Outstanding customer service focus
• Extremely detail oriented and accurate with a focus on quality assurance
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge and experience of Dataphile is an asset
• This role is required to conduct business in French. Bilingual in English is an asset and is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work EST standard hours

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $46,000 - $55,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
