We are recruiting for a Bilingual Quality Assurance Engineer to join our teams in Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in executing test scenarios, developing quality assurance standards, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Proficiency in functional, system, integration, regression, user experience, and user acceptance testing is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot and generate test reports. Our employees benefit from a hybrid work environment with three days in-office per week.

Bilingualism in English and French is required, as this role involves testing, validation, and communication in both languages, both orally and in writing.

As a Bilingual Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Supporting the Manager, Quality Assurance, in testing and validating applications to mitigate risks and minimize business impact, including:
  • Planning, designing, leading, and executing test scenarios
  • Coordinating deliverables and resolving issues
  • Writing and revising test plans, processes, and procedures
  • Executing various types of tests and providing reports
  • Troubleshooting and analyzing issues
  • Supporting environments and providing reports to stakeholders
  • Identifying trends and developing recommendations
  • Maintaining core application functionalities
  • Supporting the development of the QA Centre of Excellence by:
    • Developing and maintaining QA standards
    • Conducting knowledge transfer and promoting testing best practices
    • Engaging with stakeholders for feedback and improvements
    • Staying updated on industry trends
    • Providing advice on testing practices
  • Being recognized by your profile:
    • Extensive QA lifecycle experience
    • University education
    • Minimum 5 years of practical IT and testing experience
    • Experience in a professional service organization is a plus
    • Certifications like CAST or CSQA are assets
    • Bilingual in French and English
    • Attention to detail, analytical skills, and team orientation
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Proficiency with relevant tools and technologies, including test automation and remote access technologies
