Job summary

Buckman Canada is seeking a Sales Executive in Montreal to drive profitable growth, manage existing accounts, and expand opportunities across pulp and paper customers. This role focuses on retaining customers and identifying new opportunities while aligning operational and financial performance with company objectives.

You will collaborate with service, planning, lab, R&D, and supply chain to ensure high service standards, while leveraging Ackumen and Dynamics to monitor forecasts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with strong knowledge in pulp & paper, chemical engineering, chemistry, or biology.
• 5+ years of industry/paper chemical sales experience.
• Demonstrated track record of successful selling and account growth.
• Understanding of business/finance terminology and working knowledge of paper operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive year-over-year revenue growth through cross-selling and upselling.
• Handle orders and other requirements by communicating with customers or distributors.
• Identify and commercialize new applications within existing and new customers.
• Prevent attrition and actively maintain relationships to support long-term retention.
• Report sales forecasts and manage opportunities in Dynamics; monitor pipeline health and conversion rates.
• Drive acquisition of new applications and increase share of wallet across accounts in the region.
• Coordinate with other functions to optimize profitability and align with pricing plans.
• Lead business reviews with customers to assess value delivered and opportunities for alignment.
