BonLook, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking an experienced Optician to join our Bayshore Shopping Centre location in Ottawa. This full-time role offers 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, with opportunities for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will educate patients, help them choose eyewear for style and vision, perform repairs and adjustments, and support the clinic and retail operations while providing exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of optical experience.
• Registered Optician in Ontario.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual English/French is considered an asset.

In this role, you'll enhance the lives of our patients every single day, delivering exceptional vision and eyewear experiences in a dynamic, rewarding, and collaborative environment. What You'll Do

• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Minimum one year of experience in an optical setting
• Registered Optician in Ontario
• Proficient with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
• Bilingualism English/French is considered an asset
