BonLook, a division of FYihealth group, is seeking an Optician for our Bayshore Shopping Centre location to provide exceptional eye care and eyewear experiences. The role is full-time (30–40 hours/week), bilingual (English/French), and requires Ontario registration.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/French required to communicate with patients.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an optical setting.
• Registered Optician in Ontario.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to lifestyle and budget.
• Guide patients in selecting eyewear balancing style and vision.
• Perform eyewear repairs and adjustments for proper fit and comfort.
• Coach and train team members to uphold optical standards and processes.
• Support clinic operations and contribute to overall clinic success.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and positive patient experiences.
• Perform additional duties as required to support the clinic.

In this role, you’ll enhance the lives of our patients every single day, delivering exceptional vision and eyewear experiences in a dynamic, rewarding, and collaborative environment. This position is a full-time role working 30-40 hours per week, Monday to Sunday.

What You’ll Do

• Educate patients on eyewear options tailored to their lifestyle, ensuring optimal value and quality
• Guide patients in selecting eyewear that combines style with optimal vision
• Perform eyewear repairs and adjustments to ensure proper fit and comfort
• Coach and train team members to enhance their skills, performance, and knowledge to ensure consistent execution of optical standards and processes
• Support retail operations and contribute to overall clinic success
• Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive patient experience
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required

What You Bring

• Bilingualism English/French is required to communicate with our clients/patients.
• Minimum one year of experience in an optical setting
• Registered Optician in Ontario
• Proficient with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively
