Job description

We are looking for a bilingual, highly motivated, team-oriented individual to join our Life Operations team as an Operations Specialist on a regular, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Associate Manager, SISIP Life Insurance Services, Manulife, you will be responsible for email support, member plan set-up, processing requests, administration of existing business, financial adjustments/calculations, billing of premiums, and policyholder support, as required.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. Receive death notifications, set up life claims, and provide administrative support to the Life Claims Assessor.
  2. Provide clerical support to the team and handle other daily administrative duties.
  3. Handle emails from members and policyholders.
  4. Prepare and submit policyholder notifications.
  5. Coordinate requirements and support among operational teams.
  6. Support ad-hoc projects or related tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bilingual (French & English) is required; the successful candidate must communicate effectively in both languages to support clients across various jurisdictions outside Quebec.
  2. Previous life insurance administration experience is beneficial.
  3. Infectiously positive personality with a drive to succeed and a dedication to quality service.
  4. Excellent customer service skills demonstrating integrity.
  5. Strong listening and interpersonal skills.
  6. Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

  2. Superior attention to detail.
