Bilingual Logistics Coordinator

Overseeing and facilitating the supply chain operations of our company, you will coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operation of various channels aiming for maximum efficiency. This is a collaborative team environment, and we are all responsible for the overall customer and carrier experience, with duties listed below.

Primary Responsibilities of Logistics Coordinator

1. Negotiate freight rates with carriers for domestic and cross-border TL and LTL
2. Source carriers
3. Respond to spot quotes and customer requests within expected timelines
4. Be available after hours to assist with resolving issues
5. Grow and maintain existing and new carrier or customer relationships
6. Utilize all aspects of Greenscreens: carrier bids, customer quotes, lane research
7. Ensure carriers are qualified in RMIS
8. Perform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
9. Collaborate with co-workers to provide solutions to customers
10. Organize the Spot email inbox to ensure all coworkers have visibility to the appropriate emails
11. Transition spot quote customers into dedicated customers
12. Improve on win percentage daily
13. Follow up with customers for additional lanes
14. Identify areas of weakness
15. Work closely with leaders and business development departments to develop compliant cost/price strategies and proposals
16. Create customer proposals
17. Maintain professional communication with Manager throughout the RFQ process on cost strategies and to ensure best pricing is presented in each proposal
18. Research and track competitor pricing and market trends
19. Maintain and improve existing pricing processes and costs
20. Perform all relevant aspects of Greenscreens including rates and customer quotes
21. Responsible for margin improvement through various methods
22. Identify areas of weakness and improve these through carrier procurement
23. Communicate market insights to operating and sales groups within defined time frames
24. Upload carrier rates and customer bill rates into the TM system
